Lindsay Cooper: Oh Moscow
Composer Lindsay Cooper (bassoonist/alto saxophonist) formerly of Henry Cow, Slap Happy, and the Feminist Improvisors Group, joined forces with filmmaker Sally Potter (singer/lyricist) among other notables. Recorded live in 1991 at the Victoriaville Festival in Canada about six weeks before the cold war ended.

Dj Margaret is joined with writers SUZANNE STEIN, community producer at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, editing the museum's blog, Open Space and organizing a variety of talk- and conversation-based programs, and SAMANTHA GILES, executive director of Small Press Traffic, bringing together San Francisco Bay Area's independent readers, writers, and presses through publications, conferences, talks, and their dynamic reading series. Their conversation speaks to the upcoming related programming in conjunction with the exhibition at SFMOMA, "The Steins Collect: Matisse, Picasso, and the Parisian Avant-Gard" opened Saturday May 21, 2011.
