This is the first in depth discussion of the initiative that I've seen/heard. Thank you Tina and thank you Dr. Winston.

I totally enjoyed this interview with Tina and Dr. Winston. He asked great quetions and was very open minded about the MGM bill. The only thing I would have added is the fact that 80% of men in the world have their foreskins and the practice of circumcision is not generally done in the industrialized world. Thank you both for the fair portrayel of what circumcision entails and why more and more people are becoming educated about this issue.

Hi Dr. Winston. You said you think it's too late to do anything about being circumcised. I'm 53 and restoring. We could have talked about restoration and viewed the many methods of restoring foreskin through tension, if you had stopped by the ARC Attorneys for the Rights of the Child booth at Folsom and Castro Street Fairs in SF. Please check our intactivist events next year at BANG Bay Area iNtactivists Group on facebook. There is one quick method to gain sensitivity by de-keratinizing the glans. Takes about 6 weeks. It's called the SenSlip, an artificial UK manufactued latex foreskin foreskin worn on the whole penis. This method provides quick results that propel men to restore. Restoring is easy, not expensive, and there's enough methods to fit any man's lifestyle. Here's what is lost to circumcision and what can be restored:

"There is no convincing evidence that circumcision is useful or necessary in terms of prevention or hygiene." "risk of HIV infection, it is reasonable to put off circumcision until the age at which such a risk is relevant" "Contrary to what is often thought, circumcision entails the risk of medical and psychological complications." "Non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors conflicts with the child’s right to autonomy and physical integrity." "(concerning religious circumcision) restrict it as much as possible." "There are good reasons for a legal prohibition of non-therapeutic circumcision of male minors, as exists for female genital mutilation."

--The Royal Dutch Medical Association (46,000 members) have touched on ALL points of male circumcision, unlike all the medical associations in the US. http://tinyurl.com/254kvyp
